Get help paying for it
State and federal grants available for qualifying customers. Grants pay for energy improvements for low- and moderate-income households — most of our customers use them, and we do the application with you.
Two levels of help
Improvements at no cost
Up to $14,000
$12,000 in Sullivan County (upstate region). Also for anyone with a HEAP, SNAP, TANF or SSI award letter from the last 12 months.
50% of the cost covered
Up to $7,000
$6,000 in Sullivan County. You pay the other half — we’ll show you the exact split before any work starts.
Owners and renters
Homes with 1–4 units. Renters need the landlord’s approval.
Free assessment
The home energy assessment, plus small items installed on the spot, cost nothing.
We file it
We prepare and submit the grant application and the final paperwork.
