Every project starts with a full assessment by a trained energy auditor. We measure how leaky the house is, check insulation levels, and test your heating equipment for safety — then show you a written plan with what each fix costs and what the programs cover.
Signs you need it
- Rooms that never get warm, or upstairs that is always too hot
- Heating bills that keep climbing
- Ice dams, frost in the attic, or drafts around outlets and trim
- You want to know if you qualify for a grant before committing to anything
How we do it
- Walk-throughOutside and in, attic to basement: insulation depth, moisture, ventilation and visible air leaks.
- Blower-door testA calibrated fan depressurises the house so we can measure — and find — every leak.
- Infrared scanA thermal camera shows missing insulation and air leaks inside the walls.
- Combustion safetyCarbon-monoxide and draft tests on your boiler, furnace and water heater.
- Your planA written scope listing each improvement, its cost, and what the program pays.
Paying for it: For grant-qualified households the assessment is free, and so are small items we install on the spot. Check if you qualify →
